This past weekend, Davis Sqaure’s ballroom transformed into a trendy vintage thrift market hosted by Bulls*** Boutique. BS Boutique is an affordable, vintage clothing store in Boston that hosts much-anticipated in-person markets every so often. This particular event brought together a diverse group of around 10 vendors, showcasing a variety of unique articles of clothing and accessories, ranging from jewelry to sports jackets.

The atmosphere inside the ballroom was electric. Blue and purple LED lights illuminated the whole room, and a DJ played upbeat and fun tunes, setting the tone for the event. As I shopped around, it was clear this market was unique in its community and energy. All the vendors were welcoming and brought their own vibe to the room. Each of their booths perfectly reflected their stylistic taste. One focusing on vintage jerseys and sports jackets especially caught my eye, displaying upcycled Patriots jerseys and retro sports caps.

As I continued to explore the market, it was impossible not to feel the sense of creativity that filled the room. Every booth had such a great selection that I ended up purchasing a Patriots sports jacket and a red handbag. The sports jacket had a classic design and it is a fun piece to wear to a game. As for the red handbag, its striking color and funky design caught my eye; it's the perfect addition to elevate any outfit.
This market was the perfect way to boost my wardrobe. Whether you were browsing or shopping, the excitement and creativity that everyone shared made the experience special. BSboutique outdid themselves with this market, and I can't wait for the next one. For updates on their in-person markets and online shopping opportunities, check out their Instagram.
